Costing and demand for successful new product

A new product designed for the NHS by a private company had been very successful with many Primary Care Trusts. The product had been priced at a discount and needed new pricing. The exponential growth of the product made it difficult to forecast demand.

We sourced the information needed to perform a product costing in collaboration with the team. We classified the PCTs by type and concluded to a future levelling of demand, which proved accurate.

Outcome: The price of the product was increased and the PCTs welcome the higher visibility on demand

10-day-project:

Design of template to give clinical results to the NHS

The company had commissioned a national study on the clinical results it held for the new product but each PCT was keen to know their own results.

We designed a template to provide each PCT, on a regular basis, with a summary of their statistics and how they compared to the national average.

2-day-project:

Valuing a company in a cyclical industry

An expert of the real estate market needed a fundamental valuation approach to support his assessment of a publicly traded company.

We sourced twenty years of data from the Companies House and performed an economic-value-added analysis of the company over time.

Outcome: our input combined professionally with the existing report and was welcome by the client.
